Bizen and Mashiko, for now

Everyday pots from potters in Japan

I'm Nabe, and I grew up in Okayama, where Bizen ware is made. I came to pottery through ikebana and the pots on my own table. I pick the potters I write about, and each one gets a page once they've said yes.

If you'd like a piece, send me a request. I'll ask the potter and send you one price, shipping and import duties included, before you pay anything.

Currently taking requests from Australia and the United States.

How it works: a request is free, and you see the full price before you pay anything.

Potters & Places: Bizen in Okayama and Mashiko in Tochigi, the places the first pieces will come from.
